Andre Deveaux was suspended 3 games for the elbowing incident on Wednesday. The Rangers have already called up forwards Carl Hagelin and John Mitchell. The question now is what forward will be scratched? Personally, I think it should be Christensen, but it might be Avery considering he was sent to Connecticut instead of Christensen and he was scratched a lot towards the end of last season. I would make the lines as follows:
Hagelin-Stepan-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Richards-Callahan
Anisimov-Mitchell-Prust
Avery-Boyle-Redorenko
The healthy scratch would be Christensen. I would also give the fourth line more playing time than Torts usually does. The game against Washington is toady at 4 pm.
