Player Profile-Brian Boyle

Brian Boyle is a 6'7" 244 lbs. left winger from Hingham, Mass. He was drafted 23th overall by the LA Kings in 2003, and was traded to the Rangers for a 3rd round pick in 2009. Before playing the the NHL, Boyle played in for Boston College and for the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL. He is close friends and former roomate of defense man Michael Del Zotto. Boyle is known for his size, and had a surprising number of goals last season. This season, he has been playing on a line with Rupp and Prust, although that is always subject to change.
